dell’Arte Opera Ensemble's training and peformance opportunities are offered free of charge to singers and at very affordable prices to the public. Funding for these exciting programs comes from our supportive audience of committed individual donors, as well as foundations and corporate giving programs, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. Your gifts, small and large, are not only welcome, but necessary.

It has been said that opera is the most all-encompassing art form, and for that reason, it is also the most expensive to produce.  Our focus is on direct, simple productions that promote great singing, great music, and great drama, offering accessible  performances to diverse modern audiences of all ages, incomes, and interests.

In addition to affordable performances of our Standard Repertoire Project, dell’Arte Opera Ensemble has expanded its activities to include at least two fully staged and costumed productions with chamber ensemble each year.  This is an exciting addition to dell’Arte’s program for both singers and audiences, but requires increased funding.  Ticket prices account for less than half of production costs.  The rest comes from private and public funding, and donors.

Please consider supporting dell’Arte so that we can continue to offer developing singers and offering thrilling operatic experiences audiences of new and old friends like you.
